Created initial mock-ups and motivated developer partner to prototype web app. The prototype model of the project has been rolled out, which allows the users to overlay various natrual sound tracks onto the main music track. More functions and music options are under development.

Let’s admit it. The universities do not always have the best public transportation system. Yet, tens of thousands of students depend on a reliable way to get them to different classes everywhere, to go grocery shoppings away from campus, and arrive home safely after working up late at libraries. Car pooling might be a good idea for students who share the same destinations to hop on a car and save some time and bucks. That’s where HHitch comes into play. HHitch is an app aimed to help student to navigate through on and off-campus lives. The app has several features to ensure the safety of the students.

Sometimes, planning a trip can be a headache. You need to decide where to go, plan ahead each stops and destinations, book hotels and flight tickets. Trip planning can help you decide where to go and customize the whole trip for you by recommending things to do, optimizing routes, and booking all the tickets and hotels for you at one click. It also serves as a notebook to keep track of your itineraries and expenses.

I studied and compared two frameworks, Sample Average approximate (SAA) and Rolling Horizon (RH), to optimize a multi-stage stochastic model for the total cost, including initiation cost and operation cost after fleet size is determined.
